I'm excited to re-introduce the Rainbow Triangles Block of the Month program! This BOM program ran as a mystery BOM during 2018, and is now back as a regular, non-mysterious, program. 

The Rainbow Triangles BOM quilt combines my two loves: rainbows and triangles!

Rainbow Triangles Patterns and Videos for Months 1 - 12 The program is set up to run as a monthly block of the month. But since the program ran live in 2018, going forward you'll have access to the entire program as soon as you enroll. So you're free to set your own pace. 

Here's the general overview of the program: 

  • Months 1-5: We'll be working on the Triangle Blocks from Modern Triangle Quilts.  
  • Months 6-11: We'll be working on piecing the Triangle Block pieces into square and rectangle blocks to begin to puzzle our panel together.
  • Month 12: Yah! Month 12 is for quilt top assembly and celebrating. I'll also be showing you my coloring tricks. 

Bonus Finishing Tips and Tricks are also available and are located after Month 12.

Lots of Color!

The Rainbow Triangles BOM uses 50 different fabrics to create a dynamic rainbow.

That sounds pretty intimidating! But no worries, I have done all the color guesswork so you don't have to! I provide you a complete color guide. So you can use fabric of your choosing, e.g. batiks, prints ,or solids. 

You can make it doubly easy on yourself by pre-ordering a kit.

Pattern Details

  • Sizes: Instructions include three sizes: Big Throw (72'' x 72'') and Smaller Throw (60'' x 60'')
  • Techniques used include foundation piecing (I will teach Freezer Paper Piecing), piecing, and piecing a half square triangle quilt top.
